Raced at Redbud Saturday  , After raining fairly hard for a couple hours Saturday night packed up and headed south to Crossroads for Sundays race.  Track was fantastic as normal and ruts were supreme. Great racing , good food and clean showers ! May 2008

Just wanted to thank the Crossroads crew for a good day at the races.  Kynon loved the rutted corners!  I hadn't seen him do that well on a well rutted track for a while, even though we've turned into somewhat part-time racers! lol  It was even his first race on his Honda 150R and he loved it.  I never heard him have one complaint about the track all day.  At intermission I even heard him say that he hoped that Ray didn't take the ruts out of the corners.

Thanks again Ray and Nadine!

Thanks again for a GREAT day! We almost forgot how much fun we have at your place! We will definitely try and make a few more races this year. As I've said before - you and Ray put on a first class program!  And get that pit bike track prepped - the boys drove me nuts at the truck ALL day!

Finally got a chance to head down to this track yesterday with a buddy. Did not get to race, long story, But the track was awesome. It does get real rough and will keep you on your game. The clay jump faces do get dryed out, of course 20mph wind gusts and high 80's did not help, but overall the track stayed nice. This track developed horseshoe ruts and breaking bumps, from hell, multi lines in corners. My bud did not care to much for the break bumps going down the hills but hell everyone raced the same track its mx. This track is a true outdoor natural terrain track with safe jumps and options and a little old school mix. We were impressed with how the program is run there, Quads first then rework the track for the bikes the rest of the day, and the program runs and clicks the rest of the day pretty smooth. Hats off to the promoters and crew for a fine race. Check this track out sometime we will be back.

I wanted to say "thanks" to Nadine & Ray for holding practice over the weekend.  Even though the wind was a "bit" cool, they are doing a awesome job.  It's great to see the track actually changing up and improving, rather than the same ole' stuff year after year, as some tracks do.  Keep up the good work!!  Glad to have a local track open, along with a crew that always wants to make it better for the racers.  Thanks again!

went to CRMX today along with aaron, hayden, troy, james p and the faegans just name a few. it wasnt a big turnout, but ok. the track was incredible, it did get a little rough but not insanely bad as it did earlier this year. to everyone at the track great job on all the work you have done. i look forward to coming back next year.  ytee 329

I echo what Brad said about the track. It was the best track I've ever seen or ridden on at Crossroads. I don't think that they even watered the track at all yesterday and there wasn't any dust!

Even though my results weren't great I still felt like I had a great ride and felt really good about it being my last race. I cleared a couple of jumps that I really hadn't completely cleared before. I felt great on the bike and really enjoyed myself.

It was great way to end the year and my "racing career". I will still be at the track next year I just won't be racing.

To the crew at Crossroads...GREAT JOB!

L8r,

Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the race at Crossroads Sunday. Had a great 40+ race with Tony and Steve. They schooled me as usual but I gave it the old 100%. There was a real good turnout and all those who stayed home because of the weather missed some primo dirt. It rutted up real nice and had some great lines. I finally jumped the uphill triple and it was funnnnnnnnnnnn.

Thanks Nadine for the plaque for Jess, I haven't been home yet but I will get it to him Monday night. Thanks for you and Rays hospitality, everytime we come to your track you make us feel right at home.

My running buddy this weekend Donnie Lewis and I had been to RedBud for VetFest sat and stopped in Sunday on the way home. Some of us really cant get enough............................................................mx that is.

It was good to meet Dean and Jordan, hopefully Jess will be back to race Jordan before long. Travis it was good to see you there also.

Keep It Pinned

See You At The Races

Comment:  From 50cc racers

Nadine: Just wanted to give you some feedback! What a great day! You have an incredible facility! From the track itself to the bathrooms to the pits - it was all top notch - and what a great bunch of people too.
We had a great day, the boys loved the track and the fact that they got to run 5 good length laps.....that really allowed for some real "races" to work themselves out. We thought it was going to be a little early start -  but it turned out to be worth getting up at 4 am to avoid sitting through 21 motos twice just to ride 6 laps!!! We like the way you have the kids morning program set up a lot. The pit bike track was a hit too. We will definitely be back and will also spread the good word. Keep
up the good work! My wife loved the fact that from the very nice grassy infield, she could see everything from the starting gate to the far corners very easily.
Hope things work out to be a great success for you all!!

Letters from the WEB
WOW! What a cool track! If you ever raced here when it was called Planet X-treme then most of the track will be somewhat familiar to you, but now it's been improved!

The track is long and technical but in my opinion very safe. I was pooped after just 1 lap! Of course, I'm out of shape. But I even heard some of the A riders commenting on the track's ability to wear them out before the final lap.

I can't wait to go back!

We went Sunday and My son loves the track. We got started a little late, but was still done and out of there by five. No waiting around because of so many motos.
About one track prep and you are done. Track stays pretty nice.
Better be in shape, it is a long track with a few more obstacle than most.

I have a link of ours listed, there are some pics from Sunday under CrossroadJune406.

This track seems like its getting better everytime I go, whether its more sawdust, a new jump, or just changing a jump a little.  The new table top was a lil soft still, but the work on the double double before the finish table was deff. a plus....Even though I wiped out on that section it still felt alot better.

Crossroads MX is a GREAT place to ride. Anyone here in driving distance should stop on by at least once. Went there once, came back, and plan to each chance I get. Very challenging track that wears you out, but is fun. Great environment, great staff and track workers, and the best part of all; SPLIT SCHEDULE. Quads are done racing by like 10-11am depending on what's going on, then the bikes come on.

If you live in the area, make a stop on by sometime. Tell me if you are b/c I'd be glad to meet up out there. I am not affiliated w/the track, I have just been there a couple times, including last weekend, and couldn't be happier w/the place.

We live just a few miles from the track and we are really glad to have Nadine & Ray running the track. They have really put a lot into it and have really been working hard to keep it going. They have had a low turnout which is sad after all the work they have done. They are running races about every other weekend so we enjoy not having to travel so far with the gas prices. JOIN US!!! I think you will be glad you did.

I agree with Grannymx, I was just at the track last night for the prepped track practice and considering the low rainfall we've had lately, the track was excellent. I really appreciate their hard work and personally feel it's one of the best track layouts in the state of Illinois. We all need to remember that without good turnouts, the tracks we love will all go away, so please try and support them as much as possible! Thanks again to Ray and Nadine!!

Team Wilder, John #123 and Jess #711 were on our way home from Millville and stopped in and raced June 10th and had a great time. I liked the split format, we got there at 10 and were back on the road at 4. The track was fun and safe for a 43 yr old and a 14 yr old. Id like to thank Troy Lea for providing a worship service on sat and Ray and Nadine for including a worship service. The first jump up the hill after the start had a little kicker that would kick your rear end up a little if you chopped your throttle and next time Ive got to hit the uphill triple. I liked the washboard whoops cause you just dont see many of them anymore. Thanks Nadine/Ray for a great afternoon.
